Jens Tuider, M.A. Germany
Jens Tuider, M.A., animal ethicist by training, is Executive Assistant at ProVeg International and also works for Beyond Carnism and Animal Equality. He heads an interdisciplinary working group on animal ethics at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and runs an online database with arguments in defence of animal rights (animalrights.info). Jens has published academic and non-academic articles on animal ethics and animal rights and has given presentations and workshops at a number of international events. Having started out as a theorist, he has become increasingly interested in questions of activism and strategy directed at bringing about effective social change for animals. His current projects include the Early Intervention Network.
