Detailed information
Sarah Heiligtag Switzerland
Sarah Heiligtag studied philosophy, economics and politics in Ireland, France and Switzerland. After spending some time in direct action she went back to university to teach ethics and animals rights. While figuring out that a blank class room is not enough to move students hearts and change
their minds, she developed the idea of a place where ethics can be experienced and talked about. This led her husband and her to open up the Hof Narr farm sanctuary and center of ethics (www.hof-narr.ch). Having to pass farming school in order to be able to rent farmland was probably the most reassuring thing to do such a project. For if she wouldn't have been vegan at that stage she would have become vegan right there.
