Sebastian Joy, M.A., teaches NGO-management at the Berlin School and Economics and Law and is founder and director of ProVeg International — a pro-vegan food awareness organisation with the mission to reduce global animal consumption by 50% by the year 2040.

Animal Charity Evaluator rates ProVeg International as one of the most effective charities in Europe. Sebastian initiated VeggieWorld, the world's largest vegan fair with over 100.000 visitors each year, as well as Europe's largest conference on plant-based nutrition VegMed. He invented the first B12-toothpaste and established an influential vegan catering training program as well as a vegan start-up program. Through political lobbying, Sebastian has promoted the EU-wide legal definition of the terms vegetarian and vegan. He has received several international creativity, PR and marketing awards for his campaigns promoting veganism.
