Detailed information
Simon Gerlach Denmark
Simon Gerlach holds a master's degree in psychology and is the director of the Danish 22-day vegan challenge campaign, VeganerUdfordringen. A campaign, that among other achievements, got MP's from two major political parties to go vegan in May of this year. He has a great interest in issues of trans-species empathy, moral disengagement, and moral inconsistency in human-animal relations. Furthermore, he is passionate about effective advocacy and how academic research can inform and improve activism. For more than ten years, he has been involved in various forms of social justice activism – some more (and others definitely less!) effective than others.
