Detailed information
Lucy Parry Australia
I am an early career academic researching deliberative democracy and animal protection. My PhD research, in collaboration with the Centre for Animals and Social Justice, advocated for a more deliberative democratic approach to animal protection. I have been based at the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance at the University of Canberra for two years. I have an emerging publication record on the topic of animal ethics and deliberative democracy and democratic innovations and have presented research at international conferences across the UK and Australia. I am currently based in Vienna and seeking to establish my academic career in Europe.
