Rescuing on a Large Scale English talk by Lina Lind Christensen (Denmark)
Laura Vicuña: Seminar room, first floor
Rescuing Animals and Achieving Change on a Large Scale
In this talk, Lina will tell the story about how her rescue work began; how picking up 6
spent hens from a battery egg farm with her husband evolved into a sanctuary and an animal rescue service that has saved the lives of more than 1500 hens. Lina will talk about how she combines the rescue work with her corporate outreach and campaign work at Anima, and how focusing on individual animals and telling their personal stories can have a huge impact when trying to create change for the billions of animals that still suffer on factory farms. In the presentation, you'll also get a chance to ”meet” some of the hens Lina has saved when she shows photos and videos from the sanctuary.
